Dave Alty hails from a dark pool but arduously and assiduously seeks the light. Originally from Liverpool he found his spiritual home in The Lake District and can often be found at the top of Haystacks or on his way around Crummock Water. He was lucky enough to go to university late in life (mainly due to any business aspirations being crushed by the global financial crash of 2008 - happenstance!) where he obtained a First Class Honours degree in Music Practice from UCLAN and a thirst for knowledge.
